With this warm weather today, I had a craving for a super fresh summer salad. So, thats exactly what I did! ☀️ 🥗 The base of my salad is a simple spring mix and greek dressing. From there, I added cucumbers, peppers and watermelon. Top it off with some feta cheese, salt and pepper. My little hidden tip is that I dress my salad and then let it sit in the fridge for about an hour to let everything marinade — I think it tastes better this …

Lunch today 🥟 Got these microwave dumplings at Costco, they are easy and delicious. I added some soy sauce, sesame oil, chilli flakes and hot sauce. Paired with a can of Diet Coke, just the best!

My next kitchen wish list item! I didn't realize how much I wanted a pasta maker until I went to a cooking class where we used one, these are so much fun and I am on the hunt for a reasonable one around town!

A useful tip I was given recently, for caramelizing onions, keep it low and slow but also adding little splashes of water in the process. Wow! What a difference it makes. My house is about to smell like onions, even more than it does 🤣!

I got a little ambitious last night! Homemade pasta, meatballs made from scratch and a garlic citrus sauce. It was a homemade night! Took about 2 and 1/2 hours start to finish but it was beautiful!

What to do when there are apples going bad in the fridge? Make apple pie of course! I cheated a little, using store bought crust 🤪 but it still tasted delicious and you can't have apple pie without ice cream!
