Today, I had the honour of attending BurlingtonToday's inaugural Community Builder's Awards, lunch and award ceremony at Paradiso downtown. Wow! I think it was a beautiful occasion as we celebrated over a delicious lunch. Stay tuned for photos and stories on award recipients. Spring is here! For me, I'm most excited about hanging the laundry outside to dry. Don't get me wrong, I actually do hang laundry in the winter too - it dries remarkably fast believe it or not. I don't know what it is about that smell of fresh-hung laundry, but I make the time to hang it out. Yes it does take longer, but it's way more environmentally-friendly and I find the process is relaxing for me. Who knew laundry could be stress

Personally, I've been taking golf lessons to try to improve my swing. I'm not ready to drop the money on a membership, but you will see me on the course this summer, along with hundreds of other Burlington residents.
